ये हैं उत्तराखण्ड के ‘वृक्ष मानव’ जिन्होंने अकेले ही 50 लाख वृक्ष लगाकर उगा डाला सघन जंगल!

यकीन करना मुश्किल है …………….कि कोई इन्सान वृक्ष से इतना लगाव और प्यार कर सकता है। एक ऐसा ग्रीन हीरो जिन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन धरती मां के लिए समर्पित कर दिया.एक ऐसा तपस्वी जिसकी मेहनत एक पूरी घाटी को हरियाली में बदल चुकी है। एक वनऋषि की कहानी जिन्होंने मात्र 8 साल की उम्र से पेड़ लगाने शुरू किए और अब तक 50 लाख से अधिक पेड़ लगा चुके है। ये पहाड़ का मांझी है जिसने अपनी मेहनत से विशाल जंगल तैयार कर दिया।
ये हैं विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी जो अपनी उम्र के अंतिम पड़ाव पर हैं।आंखों की रोशनी जा चुकी है जबान से लड़खड़ाते हुए केवल यही शब्द निकलते हैं
“वृक्ष मेरे माता-पिता……….
वृक्ष मेरी संतान….
वृक्ष मेरे सगे साथी …………”
अब जरा सोचिए कि विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी ने किन परिस्थितियों में अपनी सकलाना घाटी को हरा भरा करने में कितनी मेहनत की। उत्तराखंड में रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के पुजार गांव में जन्मे विश्वेश्वर द्त्त सकलानी का जन्म 2 जून 1922 को हुआ था।
बचपन से विश्वेश्वर दत्त को पेड़ लगाने का शौक था और वे अपने दादा के साथ जंगलों में पेड लगाने जाते रहते थे।इनका जीवन भी माउन्टेंन मैन दशरथ मांझी की तरह है जिन्होंने एक सड़क के लिए पूरा पहाड़ खोद दिया। दशरथ मांझी की तरह विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी के जिन्दगी में अहम बदलाव तब आया जब उनकी पत्नी शारदा देवी का देहांत हुआ।1948 को हुई इस घटना के बाद उनका लगाव वृक्षों और जंगलों की होने लगा।अब उनके जीवन का एक ही उद्देश्य बन गया केवल वृक्षारोपण……………….
अब सोचिए जिसने धरती मां के लिए अपनी आंखो की रोशनी गंवा दी………..बीमारी के बावजूद जंगलों में पेड़ लगाने का उनका जूनून कम नही हुआ तो फिर शरीर ने भी साथ छोड दिया अब वृक्षमानव की उपाधि से नवाजे गये। विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी अपने पैतृक गांव में रहते हैं।अब उनकी सांसे भी पेडों की बातें करती हैं।अब आपको बताते है कि विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी ने कैसे पूरी सकलाना घाटी की तस्वीर बदल दी। दरअसल करीब 60- 70 साल पहले इस पूरे इलाके में अधिकतर इलाका पेड़ विहीन था। धीरे धीरे उन्होने बांज,बुरांश,सेमल,भीमल और देवदार के पौधे को लगाने शुरु किये। शुरू शुुरू में ग्रामीणों ने इसका काफी विरोध किया, यहां तक कि उन्हें कई बार मारा भी गया लेकिन धरती मां के इस हीरो ने अपना जूनून नही छोडा और आज स्थिति ये है कि करीब 1200 हेक्टेयर से भी अधिक क्षेत्रफल में उनके द्वारा पूरा जंगल खडा हो चुका है।
विश्वेश्रर दत्त सकलानी ने अपना पूरा जीवन पहाड़ के लिए दे दिया।पेंड़ों और धरती मां के लिए त्याग बलिदान और संघर्ष की ऐसी दास्तां आपने शायद ही कहीं देखी होगी।पुजार गांव के बुजुर्ग बताते हैं कि जब उनकी बेटी का विवाह था और कन्यादान होने जा रहा था तो उस समय में वो जंगल में वृक्षारोपण करने गए थे। विश्वेश्वर दत्त सकलानी जी का जीवन उन पर्यावरण विदों के लिए आईना है जो अपने जुगाड़ के कारण बड़े बड़े अवार्ड हथिया लेते हैं लेकिन जमीन में दिखाने के लिए कुछ नही है!!

Now imagine how much work Vishweshwar Dutt Saklani did in his work to beat his Sakalana valley. Born in Puzhar village of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, born Vishweshwar Dutt Sakalani was born on June 2, 1922.
Vishweshwar Dutt was fond of planting trees from his childhood and used to go to the park with his grandfather in the forests. His life is also like Mount Mann Dasharath Manjhi who dug the entire mountain for a road. Like Dashrath Manjhi, a significant change in the life of Lord Vishweshwar Dutt Sakalani came when his wife Sharda Devi died. After this incident in 1948, his attachment took place with trees and forests. Now the only purpose of his life became the plantation ……………….
Now imagine, who lost the light of his eyes for the earth mother …. Despite his illness, his passion for planting trees in the jungles did not decrease, then the body also left it with the title of the tree Newly elected Vishweshwar Dutt Saklani lives in his native village.Now his cousins also talk about trees.Now you tell us that Vishweshwar Dutt Sakalani has changed the whole picture of the whole country. In fact, almost 60-70 years ago, most of the area in this area was without trees. Gradually, they started planting of barge, nutritious, seminal, banyan and cedar plants. Initially the villagers opposed it very much, and even killed them several times, but the hero of the earth mother did not leave his passion and today the situation is that the whole forest is standing in more than 1200 hectare area. Visvesvarar Datta Sakralani gave his entire life for the mountain. You will have seen such tales of sacrificial sacrifice and struggle for mother and mother of earth. The elderly of Puzhar village tells that when his daughter was married and going to be a daughter-in-law At that time, he went to the forest to plant trees. The life of Vishweshwar Dutt Saklani ji is a mirror for those environmental lessons which grab big titles because of its jugaad but there is nothing to show in the land !!
