नयां करने वाले के लिए हर जगह एक अवसर है है और हर क्षण उपयोगी। हैस्को द्वारा वर्ष 2010 में चमोली जिले के पैनी गांव में स्थानीय किसानों के साथ मिलकर कीवी उत्पादन का प्रयोग शुरू किया गया। जोशीमठ ब्लाक की पैनी गांव की श्रीमती कमला देवी द्वारा 4 नाली जमीन में 90 पौधे लगाये गये। जिनमें तीसरे साल में फल आने शुरू हो गये थे। पिछले वर्ष कमला देवी ने लगभग 1 क्विंटल कीवी का उत्पादन किया, इस वर्ष उत्पादन ज्यादा होने की उम्मीद है। इस प्रयोग से कमला देवी बहुत उत्साहित हैं। कीवी मंहगा बिकता है और जंगली जानवर नुकसान भी नहीं करते। परन्तु अब भी कमला देवी को कीवी के बड़े पैमाने पर उत्पादन और बाजार की कमी खलती है। जिले के कृषि अधिकारी को कमला देवी के कीवी उत्पादन के बारे में जानकारी नहीं है।

There is an opportunity everywhere for the newcomer and every moment useful. In 2010, the use of Kiwi production was started with local farmers in Paani village of Chamoli district by Hisco. Srimati Kamala Devi of Paani village of Joshimath Block, 90 plants have been planted in 4 groove grounds. In the third year, fruits began to appear. Last year Kamla Devi produced approximately 1 quintals of kiwi, this year is expected to produce more. Kamla Devi is very excited by this experiment. Kiwi sells expensive and wild animals do not even suffer. But still Kamla Devi faces a shortage of production and market on Kiwi’s scale. The agricultural officer of the district is not aware of the Kiwi production of Kamala Devi.
