आज 20 अक्टूबर को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी उत्तराखंड आ रहे हैं, वे केदारनाथ में आधा घंटे पूजा करेंगे . सुबह 8.05 बजे दिल्ली से चल कर 8.55 बजे जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट पहुंचेंगे. 9 बजे जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट से चोपर द्वारा 10 बजे केदारनाथ हेलीपैड पर पंहुचेंगे. यहां बदरीनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति उनका स्वागत करेगी
10.15 से 10.50 बजे तक मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना करेंगे। 10.50 बजे केदारपुरी में पुनर्निमाण परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास करेंगे . इसके बाद केदारपुरी से देश के लोगों को संबोधन देंगे. मुख्यमंत्री व स्थानीय नेतृत्व ठीक से अपनी बात रख पाये तो आज वे केदारनाथ रोपवे सहित अनेक बड़ी परियोजनाओं की घोषणा कर सकते हैं। इसके बाद वे 11.25 बजे केदारनाथ हेलीपैड से जौलीग्रांट के लिए चलेंगे । केदारनाथ आपदा के समय जब मोदी गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री थे तो उन्होंने यहाँ का पुनर्निमाण गुजरात सरकार द्वारा किए जाने का प्रस्ताव दिया था , लेकिन तब कांग्रेस के मुख्यमंत्री विजय बहुगुणा ने उन्हें इसकी अनुमति नहीं दी. समय का फेर देखिये आज विजय बहुगुणा न केवल बीजेपी में हैं बल्कि मोदी के साथ केदारनाथ आने को आतुर हैं. प्रधानमंत्री के साथ उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत, और उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ धनसिंह रावत स्थानीय विधायक मनोज रावत, भरतसिंह चौधरी, महेन्द्र भट्ट, सुरेन्द्र सिंह नेगी, मगन लाल शाह और जनप्रतिनिधि मौजूद रहेंगे। वे कई योजनाओं का शिलान्यास भी करेंगे मोदी के इस दौरे से जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग में खासा उत्साह है।
