लगभग90%जलश्रोत समाप्त हो गए ।

प्रति वर्ष हजारों एकड़ जंगल आग के हवाले हो गए ।
शहरों के साथ साथ कस्बे भी शराब के ठेकों से गुलजार हो गए
लगभग 13500प्राथमिक अध्यापक अप्रशिक्षित हो गए
पहाड़ी बृद्ध महिला व पुरुष बेसहारा हो गए ।
सरकारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार छप्पन लाख लोग उत्तराखंड राज्य बनने के बाद पलायन कर चुके हैं जबकि केवल चमोली जनपद में 156 गांव विस्थापन की कगार में है उत्तराखंड में 3000 नई मस्जिदें बन गई
जगह जगह बांग्लादेशी रोहियांग और नेपालियों का कब्जा हो गया।
